With the exhibition “Figurative,” Galerie Handwerk München opens its annual program – traditionally setting a highlight in the ceramic art calendar.
From January 16 to February 14, 2026, extraordinary sculptures and reliefs will transform the gallery spaces into a stage for contemporary figurative ceramics. Thirty-nine artists will showcase an impressive spectrum of expression: from naturalistic depictions to freely interpreted, fantastical, or narrative compositions. The works range from delicate miniatures to monumental sculptures and reveal the diversity of ceramic styles and techniques.
The focus is on the human and animal figure in its many facets.
